Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport? He began focusing on equestrian jumping at age 14.
Why this sport? He was inspired to take up the sport by his father Peter Charles. "Watching him win, especially in the London Olympics [in 2012] for me was the turning point. I knew I wanted to be a professional. I want to aspire to do what he did. I had no pressure from either of my parents, we could choose our own paths. I wanted to be a pilot till I was 16. However, when I was around 16 or 17 I decided showjumping was what I wanted to do."

Other information FOCUS ON RIDING He became a full-time rider in 2018. "I finished school one year too early. It was a long decision with my mum and dad. But we felt like we had nothing to lose. 2018 was my first year as a professional rider." (worldofshowjumping.com, 25 Jun 2019) STABLES He is based at Heathcroft Farm in Hampshire, England, where his father runs Peter Charles Equestrian. He also works alongside his sisters, Scarlett and Sienna. "Me and my sisters have a few disagreements every now and again like everyone does. It's not always about horses either. Even me and my dad, sometimes we can have different opinions on things but we all get on. If we didn't, it wouldn't run as smoothly as it does. Dad is my trainer and of course I would consider other people but for me, I don't think there would be anyone any better in the world." (heathcroftfarm.com, 01 Jan 2019; horsescout.com, 24 Oct 2018)
