FROM THE UNITED STATES TO CANADA
Born in Omaha, NE, United States, he moved north in 1996 and became a Canadian citizen in December 2011, only three days ahead of the cut off point for athletes wishing to register for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. "They knew I was on a deadline and were actually quite accommodating. They knew why I was doing it. They managed to get it done on time and a judge even came in over the Christmas holidays to swear me in. I've lived in Canada my entire adult life. Truthfully, I really feel like I am a Canadian." HORSE
He found his horse Chrevi's Capital in Sweden and imported him to Canada in 2010. "He has no real weaknesses. He has a super walk, trot and canter. He has really great pirouettes and consistently earns scores of eight and occasionally a nine in his pirouette, extended trot, and walk work. He can basically do everything for a score of eight; it is just up to me to ride well and be a good partner for him." (dressage-news.com, 03 Oct 2014; startinggate.ca, 02 May 2012)
