When and where did you begin this sport? She first tried the sport at age four at a riding school near to where she was living in Germany. She took up dressage at age 14.
Why this sport? She was inspired to learn how to ride after reading a book about a boy who owned a pony. Also, her older brother was in a riding club and her mother had a horse.

Injuries She sustained a chest injury after she was kicked by her horse during a veterinary inspection at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, Germany. She attempted to continue through the competition but was eventually forced to pull out. She was later diagnosed with a cracked sternum, as well as three broken ribs, and was away from competition for two months.
