Her older sister Melanie and her cousin Rebecca represented Germany in endurance at the 2017 European Championships in Brussels, Belgium. Her husband Jean Philippe Frances has represented France in the sport, and won gold in the team event at the 2002 World Equestrian Games [WEG] in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
