Sporting philosophy / motto |
"If they can do it, they can do it, whatever size of build or colour they are. I wouldn't really have a specific stamp of horse that I look for. Their brain is probably the most important thing for me." (eventingnation.com, 05 Jun 2011) |

STABLES

RACEHORSES
She trains racehorses as well as jumping horses. "Some horses come and stay at my yard for a week or 10 days, however long it takes really. With others, they just bring them in for the day. I really enjoy doing it, because I like to make a difference and with the racehorses, you really do feel like you can make a big difference in a very small space of time. I love it, I get a real buzz out of watching them produce it on the track." (racingtv.com, 29 Mar 2020)
VISUAL ADJUSTMENT
She lost the sight in one eye following a serious fall in 2013. "My peripheral vision was not the same. I was lucky that the horses I rode after my accident were quite experienced. If my sight does happen to come back in that eye, I'll have to readjust but you adapt to it and that is the way you have to be." (eventingconnect.today, 26 Nov 2014) |
