When and where did you begin this sport? He began riding at age 10. He focused on showing working hunter ponies, which he believes gave him a good grounding in the sport.
Why this sport? His physique was the deciding factor in his decision to become an equestrian rider rather than a jockey. "If I had been a little bit smaller and a little less fat, being a jockey was always something that I wanted to do."
