HUSBAND AND COACH
In December 2021 she married Canadian dressage rider, coach, and judge, Lee Tubman. At the beginning they did not have a coach-rider relationship but after the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, Tubman found himself with any events to judge so he started coaching Lockman. "At first, it could be rough. As a judge, I look for what I can fix, and she didn't always agree. In fact, she once told her mom that she would never ride the way I was telling her to, but now she does. We had some strong arguments at first, but then we had an epiphany!," Tubman said.
